Cancer care and treatment is a financial and emotional burden on families. Many aspects of cancer care and treatments may not be fully covered by insurance, putting families in an excruciating place of desperately needing care for their child that they are unable to afford.
Four Diamonds, our beneficiary, also ensures over 30 specialty care providers are serving the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of the children and their families.
A few examples of these specialty care providers are social workers, music therapists, child life specialists, nurse specialists, clinical nutritionist, psychologist, pharmacist, genetics counselor, neuropsychologist, and a chaplain.
